Florida DEP Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Inspector Training and Certification Program The Nonpoint Source Management Section provides the Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Inspector Training Program. The goal of the program is to increase the proper design, construction, and maintenance of erosion and sediment controls during construction and to assure the proper long-term operation and maintenance of stormwater systems after construction is completed. The primary program objective is to provide training to private and public employees in various construction related fields.
Florida Stormwater Association The Florida Stormwater Association serves professionals in stormwater management and finance. FSA provides three basic services to its members: Training and Education; Technical Assistance and Information Sharing; and, Advocacy and Legislative Relations.

Southeast Stormwater Association The Southeast Stormwater Association boundaries are co-terminus with those of EPA Region IV. With a primary focus on services to stormwater professionals in city and county governments, membership is available to those in state, regional and local governments, the private sector, non-profit organizations and academia. The Southeast Stormwater Association conducts training and educational programs such as workshops, seminars and conferences.
NPDES Stormwater Training Institute The NPDES Stormwater Training institute offers classroom, online, and field oriented training, provided in a practical and student focused learning environment.

National Resources Available in Florida
National Stormwater Center The National Stormwater Center?s courses focus on permit compliance and intent of the regulations. Our courses were developed by former enforcement officers to result in stormwater inspectors who are knowledgeable and who possess the necessary skills as per permit definitions.
International Erosion Control Association The International Erosion Control Association (IECA) is a non-profit, member organization that provides education, resource information and business opportunities for professionals in the erosion and sediment control industry. Erosion, sediment control and stormwater management training is available from your home or office. IECA webinars are 60 to 90-minute, topic-focused, online training (elearning) sessions you can take anywhere you have access to an internet connection and a phone.
Stormwater Services Group LLC The new Phase II rules require stormwater permits at construction sites one acre and larger. This permit requires weekly inspections and maintenance of the installed erosion and sedimentation control devices. Stormwater Services Group provides in-house training for these topics and others relating to permit and environmental compliance.
