Overview

Twenty-four (24) states are covered entirely by the federal OSHA program.

The Cal/OSHA program protects workers and by enforcement of California's occupational and public safety and health regulations, they provide consultation assistance publications and educational resources, and they issue permits for construction activities and tower cranes, accredit crane certifiers, register asbestos contractors and certify asbestos consultants and site surveillance technicians.
