• Construction and Demolition State Waste Resource Locator. Use this tool to locate regulatory information and other compliance assistance and P2 resources.
  
• Scrap Tire Program. The Alabama Scrap Tire Environmental Quality Act was passed in 2003 to comprehensively regulate scrap tire accumulations and to provide for cleanup and remediation of illegal scrap tire piles. • Sustainable Management of Industrial Non-Hazardous Secondary Materials. The beneficial use of industrial non-hazardous secondary materials is a key part of EPA's Sustainable Materials Management (SMM) effort.
• EPA's Methodology for Evaluating Beneficial Uses of Industrial Non-Hazardous Secondary Materials presents their approach for evaluating a wide range of industrial non-hazardous secondary materials and their associated beneficial uses.
• The Association of State and Territorial Solid Waste Management Officials (ASTSWMO) 2006 Beneficial Use Survey Report (11/2007). Forty states that participated in this study, which was conducted by the Association of State and Territorial Solid Waste Management Officials. The study covered various regulatory and technical issues associated with beneficial use. It also identifies specific byproducts that are covered by state beneficial use rules. Please note that this is an older report and therefore it may contain information that has been superseded.
• Construction Materials Recycling Association (CMRA). CMRA promotes the safe and economically feasible recycling of the more than 325 million tons of recoverable construction and demolition (C&D) materials that are generated in the United States annually.
